Maharashtra Mandal Norway (MMN) was established in 2004 by a group of passionate and visionary individuals: Mr. & Mrs. Arvind Phatak, Mr. & Mrs. Shrikant Prabhu, Mr. & Mrs. Arun Aurangabadkar, and Mrs. Pratima Mundhe. Their dedication laid the foundation for a vibrant community that celebrates Marathi culture and traditions in Norway.

Over the years, the Mandal has flourished with the enthusiastic participation of Marathi families across the region. Together, we have built a strong cultural network by organizing and celebrating festivals, hosting community events, and fostering a sense of belonging among members.

MMN acquired the title as Frivillige / Non-Profit organisation in November 2021.
